Russ Becker, Chief Executive Officer and President

Russell (Russ) Becker is the chief executive officer and president of APi Group, one of the largest providers of specialty services in North America and the largest provider of life safety services in the world. Russ’ continued commitment to overall excellence has inspired APi Group to create a culture of leadership by building an exceptional learning and development program, a highly selective Leader Development Program, and an award-winning veteran’s hiring program.

After graduation from Michigan Technological University with his bachelor and Master of Science degrees in civil engineering, Russ began his career as a field engineer with Cherne Contracting. He moved on to become a project manager for Ryan Companies during the construction of the Greenfield Recycled Paper Mill project for Liberty Paper. Upon completion of this project he joined APi Group’s subsidiary, The Jamar Company, in Duluth, Minnesota. He started as manager of construction and was named president in 1998, where he served until joining APi Group as president in 2002.

He previously served as a member of Dunwoody Institute’s board of trustees. He is the former chair of the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota board of directors and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota Foundation board of directors. He currently serves on the Children's Foundation board of directors, the Liberty Diversified Industries board of directors, and the Marvin Companies board of directors. He also serves on the advisory board for the School of Engineering at Michigan Technological University and the board for the Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT). Russ is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and the Minnesota Business Partnership. Russ resides with his wife, Trish, and three sons in Dellwood, Minnesota.

Kevin Krumm, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Krumm recently joined APi Group in September 2021 as ‪executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Kevin joins APi from Ecolab, Inc. where he most recently served as Corporate Treasurer and Senior Vice President of Global Business Services. During his 17-year tenure there, he also held roles of increasing responsibility within Ecolab, including leading the Industrial segment finance team; leading regional finance teams in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia and Latin America; and leading international integration efforts for a major acquisition. He began his career in public accounting working for consulting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers, Arthur Andersen and Deloitte with a heavy emphasis on M&A/corporate finance.

Kevin brings well-rounded experience, expertise, cultural fit, and drive to the senior leadership team at APi. His deep operating and public company finance background, including substantial international and integration experience, will be leveraged and instrumental in helping achieve margin expansion goals and growth in new geographies.

Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He and his wife, Gretchen, reside in Edina, MN with their three sons.

Louis Lambert, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Louis Lambert is the senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of APi Group.

Prior to joining APi, Louis served as vice president, legal, and assistant secretary of Polaris Inc., where he had responsibility for corporate governance, SEC compliance, M&A, executive compensation, and was general counsel for multiple global business units. Prior to that, Louis held increasingly senior legal roles at 3M Company and then General Mills, where he focused on global M&A, joint ventures, and various general counseling roles. Louis began his career as an associate at Faegre & Benson (now Faegre Drinker) in its corporate finance group.

Louis earned his JD from Rutgers School of Law—Newark and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Louis is currently a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of Wilderness Inquiry, where he chairs the Governance Committee. He previously served on the Board of JDRF (Minnesota Chapter) and was a fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.

He and his wife, Carrie, live in Edina, Minnesota with their two children.

Kristina Morton, Chief People Officer

Kristina Morton is the chief people officer for APi Group.

Kristina began her career with General Mills in 1999 and has held a variety of human resources roles in marketing, sales, and supply chain (including assignments in manufacturing plants in Covington, GA, Vineland, NJ and Cedar Rapids, IA). In 2013, she moved to Paris, France as the Human Resources Director for Yoplait International and subsequently moved to Nyon, Switzerland leading HR for the Europe & Australia Segment and the integration of Yoplait and General Mills in Europe.

Kristina earned her BA in business administration from University of Saint Thomas and her MA in human resources and industrial relations from University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. Kristina is member of the Board of Trustees for The Washburn Center for Children. Kristina is married to her husband Patrick and has two daughters.
